Best for first-timersThe most reliable flying corridor in Western India. Gentle wooded ridges, consistent sea-breeze cycles and a long season make Kamshet the default choice for tandem joyrides and P1/P2 training — roughly 1 hour from Pune and 2.5 hours from Mumbai.

India's XC capitalThe highest-profile site in the country and host to international competitions. Big climbs, long glides and proper cross-country routes. Ideal for rated pilots; tandem flights are scenic but the real value is training and XC progression.
