Stay
Flying happens early — the right stay is the one that puts you at the meeting point on time, not the one with the best pool.
Groups of 8–22
Private villas around Pawna and Uksan lakes — the default for corporate groups and families doing a fly-plus-stay weekend. Look for properties within 15–20 min of the Kamshet meeting points.
Couples / small groups
AC rooms and small resorts in the Kamshet–Lonavala corridor. Prioritise early-morning proximity to the take-off site over resort amenities — flying slots start early.
2–4 people
Lakeside tents with bonfire setups — popular with younger groups. Works well Oct–Feb; nights get properly cold, so check bedding and heating.
Day trippers
If you're flying and heading back the same evening, a day-picnic package (meal + activities) beats an overnight stay.
Book the flight first — it's the weather-limited part. Then match your stay to the confirmed slot. If flying gets cancelled by wind, a lakeside weekend still stands on its own; a hotel-only booking with a cancelled flight doesn't work the other way around.

Stay within 15–20 minutes of the Kamshet meeting points — Pawna Lake side or Kamshet village. Early flights mean early starts, and long drives eat into flying windows.
Yes — fly-and-stay combos are common around Pawna. Book the flight first (it's weather-dependent), then the stay; resorts around the lakes frequently add flying to a package.
Yes with the right operator — Oct–Feb nights drop to 10–14°C. Confirm bedding, wind shelter and washroom access before booking a tent package.
