Why flights get cancelled — and why that's the best sign

The most common complaint in Indian paragliding is 'they cancelled on us'. It's also the best indicator that you picked a real operator — the ones who never cancel are the ones who fly in conditions they shouldn't.

Cancellations happen for wind direction, gust strength, cloud base or rain. None of it is visible to a passenger on the ground; all of it is obvious to a pilot on the ridge.

What to ask instead: 'can we reschedule to tomorrow' or 'will you refund'. Good operators offer both without being asked.
