Kamshet's 2026 flying season is open — what October–February looks like

The monsoon has cleared, the ridges are green and Kamshet's sites are fully operational. October through February is the peak window — stable westerly winds, clear skies and the longest flyable days of the year.

What changes this season: weekend slots fill earlier than usual, especially November–January. Morning slots (7–10 am) remain the smoothest for tandem passengers; afternoon thermals suit experienced pilots.

If you're planning a first flight, book weekday slots for the calmest conditions and lowest prices. If you're training, this is the window — P1/P2 courses run continuously through the season.

Weather calls are still made morning-of. Keep a backup date in mind — that's not pessimism, it's how flying works.
